Wireless iPod Controls
Fibretronic's five function keypad and joystick controllers can also be supplied with wireless electronics for the remote control of any iPod player. The keypad or joystick connects to an RF transmitter module which sends the audio signals wirelessly to a receiver unit connected to the iPod. The iPod can then be operated within a 10 metre range of the transmitter module. Since the iPod does not need to be tethered to the keypad or joystick controller it opens up a range of new product opportunities, for example in gloves and other wearable accessories.
