Wireless Tech and Gloves go Hand in Hand
The success of Fibretronic's wireless iPod controls in glove applications is once again demonstrated by the 'Reggae' iPod glove being sold this season by leading UK outdoor brand Tog 24. The glove features Fibretronic's five function joystick controller sewn into the the back of the hand. This connects to a wireless transmitter housed discretely in a pocket on the cuff. The joystick commands are then sent from the transmitter to the receiver module which connects to all iPod players via the dock connector.
Through Fibretronic's CONNECTED-wear programme, we can expect to see this application expand further into a wider range of glove products next year.
