'Crafted' iPod Jacket by Republic
The well known UK high street retail chain Republic has released an iPod jacket incorporating Fibretronic's five function keypad technology. The jacket, designed for the urban streetwear market, has the keypad controller built into the sleeve with a dedicated iPod pocket located on the inside chest. Republic has also constructed the jacket with metallic yarn to give it a unique crinkled appearance. This product reflects the growing interest in Fibretronic's integrated audio control technologies from high street fashion brands with other garments due for retail launch autumn 2008.
The jacket is available through Republic stores throughout the UK as well as online. It retails for £54.99.
