O'Neill Europe Release Latest Wearables Range
Now in its fifth year, O'Neill's H-Division continues to offer innovative wearable electronic products for the mountain and the streets. This is Fibretronic's fourth consecutive season supplying iPod controls and other soft electronic products to O'Neill's H-Division programme. The Fall/Winter 08/09 range includes iPod jackets and backpacks featuring a new five function keypad controller custom designed by Fibretronic.
O'Neill has designed this season's iPod jackets with the keypad controllers in new easy to use locations rather than the conventional position on the bottom of the sleeve. The men's and women's Explore series snowboarding jackets have the keypads integrated at the top of the arm. For the first time O'Neill has also integrated controls into a casual jacket where the iPod keypad has been positioned on the front pocket flap.
Fibretronic's keypad in the same design can also be found on the strap of the iPod backpack. The keypad has also been developed for use as a control panel on the sleeve of the new H Division 'Nav Jacket', a snowboard jacket with a built-in GPS navigation system.
