Fibretronic Release Lower Cost iPod Controller
Fibretronic is pleased to announce a new electronic module as part of the CONNECTED-wear range of products. The IPLX iPod Controller operates the Play/Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward, Volume Up and Volume Down functions of all new generation iPods and iPhones. The IPLX module has the same functions as the IP30 iPod Controller but it connects through the headphone port of the iPod or iPhone rather than through the dock connector. This means that the IPLX module can be supplied to the market at a significantly lower cost.
The IPLX iPod Controller is compatible with the following products; iPod Classic 120GB, iPod nano 4th generation, iPod touch 2nd generation, iPod shuffle 3rd generation, iPhone and iPhone 3G.
Fibretronic expects that the reduced cost of this new iPod Controller will help to expand the market for wearable electronic products.
